SAN DIEGO (AP) 鈥 A few things have changed for the stars of 鈥淟ilo & Stitch鈥 since the movie became the breakout hit of 2025.

For 8-year-old star Maia Kealoha, it鈥檚 meant no more Doritos 鈥 she鈥檚 learned she has to keep her teeth clean, especially when doing interviews.

Kealoha, Sydney Agudong and Tia Carrere have been doing lots of those, taking a victory lap with 鈥淟ilo & Stitch鈥 at and promoting the film鈥檚 release for digital purchase.

Another change? Kealoha says with a big grin that she鈥檚 been recognized at stores 鈥渓ike five thousand times.鈥

Agudong says the movie 鈥渁n ode to Hawaii鈥 and it鈥檚 been really cool to 鈥渟ee how much the world has taken to it and how much impact 鈥楲ilo & Stitch鈥 really has had as just this lifelong and timeless story.鈥

She says she鈥檚 been fortunate to celebrate the film鈥檚 success with family and friends and despite premieres and whirlwind interviews, she still gets to 鈥済o to the beach and have fun all over again and I鈥檓 just the same.鈥

of the film, which is the biggest blockbuster of 2025, earning more than $1 billion.

鈥淥ur little blue friend Stitch is now a billionaire and we couldn鈥檛 be more excited about it,鈥 Carrere says excitedly.

As for a sequel, Agudong says the trio are feeling 鈥渉anna hou,鈥 a Hawaiian term for repeating or doing something again.

鈥淭hough, of course, we cannot confirm or deny the existence of any such project in this universe or the next. Sorry!鈥 Carrere cheerfully noted.
