WARFIELD 鈥 On Thursday, June 26, 2025, at approximately 8:00 a.m., Trail and Greater RCMP executed a Criminal Code search warrant on a property located in Warfield, B.C.
The search warrant was in relation to firearms related offences.
Due to the potential risk to the officers and public, the Southeast District鈥檚 Emergency Response Team (SED ERT) assisted. As part of this, the highway was required to be shut down.
Investigators seized a significant quantity of suspected illegal drugs, over $40,000 in Canadian cash and other currencies, and twenty firearms.
Additionally, officers located and recovered stolen property, including two travel trailers, a Ford F-350 pick-up truck, two ATV鈥檚, and one motorcycle.
During the search warrant, five suspects were arrested, one of which remains in police custody.
The investigation is ongoing, with several charges being considered.
