The City Vernon’s statement of financial information for elected officials was among the lowest in the valley.
Mayor Victor Cummings had only $6,769 in expenses, compared to the nearly $15,000 spent by Julius Bloomfield in Penticton.
Coun. Brian Guy was tops in spending among councillors with $6,414, compared to the $14,500 spent by Ryan Graham in Penticton — by far the highest in the valley.
Other Vernon councillor expenses in order were: Teresa Durning, $5,900; Kari Gares, $5,709; Kelly Fehr, $5,458; Brian Quirling, $4,302 and Akbal Mund, $1,207.
Cumming was paid $116,830 as mayor and each councillor received $43,225.
The SOFI report was released Monday.
